Who can use the service?
Only registered members can use the service. To qualify for membership, at least one of the following criteria needs to apply;
• Aged 60+
• Mobility difficulties that mean the individual couldn’t easily use other public transport
Membership forms can be downloaded here, or registration can take place over the phone.
When does it operate?
Journeys are available at any time, subject to capacity. We’re most likely to be able to help during the day on Mondays to Fridays, but we can also look at requests for trips at other times, including evenings and weekends.
Where do journeys go to?
Journeys can be made between any two points in or around Milton Keynes, including nearby villages, including Deanshanger, Cranfield and Newton Longville. We are able to operate across the Milton Keynes Council boundary.
How much does it cost?
The single fare is £5 per person.
How are bookings made?
Bookings can be made by calling 01908 266950 between 9am and 3pm on weekdays (not bank holidays), or by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Requests can be made between one day and three weeks in advance of travel.
How is the service funded?
There is no subsidy for this service. ECT provides it as part of our commitment to helping improve transport opportunities, and to relieve pressure on PlusBus.
