Wiktor Lipiecki, General Manager (Milton Keynes)
Wiktor graduated from the University of Poznan, with a degree in International Finance. He's also studied in the United States.
Wiktor's career started with Starbucks, where he gained significant experience in customer care, as well as management in a fast-paced environment. His focus on providing a high standard of service, as well as on Starbucks' commitment to social responsibility and community interaction, has helped him in his subsequent work in community transport.
He then joined ECT as an Operations Controller at our Milton Keynes depot in September 2006. In this role, he was responsible for processing bookings on our very busy PlusBus service, and was instrumental in delivering the massive increase in the number of trips scheduled that was achieved without a comparable increase in resource. During 2008, Wiktor took on the role of Assistant General Manager, ensuring that support was available to our frontline staff and that high standards were being delivered, as well as completing much of the inevitable administration that's needed.
From February 2010, Wiktor has been the General Manager in Milton Keynes, and is responsible for all operational aspects of the depot's performance.
