Background
ECTcharity is one of the largest and best known transport charities and social enterprises in the UK. We operate a variety of community transport services throughout the country, with depots in Ealing, Milton Keynes, Cheshire and Dorset. With over 150 staff, we are a well established organisation with a fascinating 30 year history. ECT is an award winning organisation, a model for other transport groups in the UK.
 

We have several vacancies for trustees. Applications from people with experience of strategic financial management, transport or local knowledge would be especially welcome.
 
Experience
We are looking for trustees who have one or more of the following skills or experience:
♦ Management within a medium sized organisation;
♦ Experience in the not for profit/public/commercial sector;
♦ Financial Management;
♦ HR issues;
♦ Legal issues;
♦ Ability to put forward users’ perspective;
♦ Management or board level experience in passenger transport service provision;
♦ Building networks & alliances
 
Time Commitment
Full Board meetings are held every two months in Greenford. Other involvement e.g. in sub-committees and preparatory work as appropriate is anticipated.

CT Driver (Ealing)

 Our CT Drivers are a vital part of the team, providing a friendly but professional service to our clients.  It's a great chance to do something worthwhile, knowing that the journeys we provide support the local community and in many cases help people to make trips that would otherwise be very difficult.  Please note that we don't currently have any full-time vacancies, however we're always happy to consider applications for casual roles.

Passenger Assistant (Ealing)

Our Passenger Assistants provide a vital service, supporting our customers to and from the vehicle, and assisting during the journey.  Much of the work relates to home to school journeys, and needs an ability to deal with pupils with special educational needs.  Please note that we don't currently have any full-time vacancies, however we're always happy to consider applications for casual roles.
